NEW YORK TURF NOTES f c e Trainer Hirsch Jacobs was undecided about starting Action Saturday. The colt is troubled with a minor leg ailment which caused him to miss one work Wednesday. Trainer Roy Waldron reported that he had gelded two yearlings owned by Mrs. C. O. Iselin, one by Hard Tack Pavia and the other by Kai-Sang Bred at Home. Trainer Tommy Taylor will leave for Bing-hamton, N. Y., to confer with Willis Sharpe Kilmer in reference to the winter campaign of his horses in California. .... T. J. Healey will campaign the main division of the C. V. Whitney stable at Empire City during that meeting. Frank Hackett, before leaving for winter quarters, will race a division of the Mrs. John Hertz stable at Empire City. H. Neusteter, after disposing or the horses he had here, left for Laurel, but said he would make every effort to secure new stock for next winter. Trainer George Odom said that the Arden Farms Quel Jeu was thrown out of training for the remainder of the fall racing season but will be campaigned at Hialeah Park this coming winter.
