RED ROD, far back in the early stages, sained rapidly after going a half mile and closed an immense gap. CERRO, dose up under steady restraint for five-eighths, drew into command with ease, but tired badly in the last eighth. UNLAWFUL was prominent throughout, saved ground, then tired.
