I - Pan-Mutuel Betting With the exception of the tracks in the state of New York, the Pari-Mutuel system of betting prevails at all other race courses in the United States and Canada. At some it is called "Certificates" or "Donations" but essentially it is the same Pari-Mutuels. The distinguishing feature of mutuel betting is that it is the public that makes the odds. In order to understand this method, which also prevails in Australia, France and in England in connection with the bookmakers, The American Racing Manual has prepared a comprehensive explanation which, with examples, presents just how the Pari-Mutuel system is operated. It is alone worth the price of the Manual, the 1936 edition of which has been enlarged and greatly enhanced in value. Judging from the insistent demand for this publication rightfully styled the "Wonder Book of the Turf," the entire 1936 edition will be sold. In order not to be disappointed you should rush J vour order now. yourcnvemmice the following order blank is placed hsre: DAILY RACING FORM, 441 Plymouth Court, Chicago, 111.
