I KEENELAND TURF NOTES $, Mrs. Payne Whitney, owner of the Green-tree Stable, was an interested spectator at the Keeneland opening and had the pleasure of seeing her silks carried to victory by Tattered. Mrs. Whitney is spending several days at her farm, having been accompanied here by her daughter and son, Mrs.- Charles Shipman Payson and John Hay Whitney. J. M. Goode arrived from River Downs with nine horses owned by J. W. Parrish. Barry Shannon and Maj. Louie A. Beard served with C. J. FitzGerald, Jr., in the stewards stand Friday. Tom B. Young brought the horses Paris Prince, Lee Wee, Miss Canary, Honor Her and Dark Feather from River Downs. J. M. Wiggintons Rythmic Miss was vanned here from River Downs. She is trained by Grover Noell. Busy Prince, Phil Marcus and Transformed were brought from the Cincinnati track by E. H. Langlois, and Jesse Spencer arrived from the same point with Our Willie and Good King. Joseph E. Widener and his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. B. Widener, are due Wednesday for a brief visit at Elmendorf. George Swain is assisting in the secretarys office here, and after this meeting, poes to New Orleans.
