TRACK EMPLOYS 675 MEN PAWTUCKET, R. I.. Oct. 16. Park superintendent E. P. McClain and pari-mutuels director Mort Shaw will interview many hundreds of candidates for jobs as clerks, policemen, etc., Tuesday, October 20, it was announced at Narragansett Park today. Approximately 500 men will be given employment in the pari-mutuels department of the track throughout the seventeen-day meeting which opens October 23. More than 175 others will be employed on the police and ticket staffs. All those employed at the track during the summer meeting will be given preference for the fall meeting, but all the staff of the last meeting must report on October 20, as no jobs will be held for absentees.
