EIGHT HORSES SOLD AT EPSOM DOWNS AUCTION HOUSTON, Texas, Oct. 16. Eight horses which went under the hammer in the public auction conducted in the paddock at Epsom Downs Friday morning by Dr. Bert Hitchcock brought a total of ,815. The trio offered by Mrs. Floyd West of Dallas brought the highest group figure, reaching ,875 for the three. Major Greenock drew the highest amount, being secured by Amos Wallin, agent, for 50.
