MORLEY FIRTH, away fast and saving ground all the way,, held on with good courage in the drive and outstayed MAH GRANT. The latter, never far out of it, came around her field entering the stretch, attempted to lug to the rail all through the stretch and pulled up lame. NO CHANGE was a factor through, out and suffered slight interference in the last quarter. EVA R. closed fast and gamely under strong urging, but was in close quarters in the final stages. M. displayed her usual burst of speed for the first half mile, then tired under punishment and hard riding. MOVING ON had no mishaps. CHANCABIT showed speed for three-eighths and tired badly.
