GOOD RIDE AIDS FORE ISUS R. Fair Handles Cowell Colorbearer Well in Duff erin Race Dalamac Second Best. TORONTO, Ont, Oct. 20. Fore Isus, brown juvenile daughter of Frisius and Forecast II., racing for M. R. Cowell, accounted for the Indian Summer Purse, feature offering of the third days sport at Duf-ferin Park when she came from behind and drove to a length and one-half victory before H. S. Wilsons Dalamac at the end of the about five furlongs distance. Dark Robina, from the Erindale Stable, was in third place, a nose back and a head before M. Keelings Sweepfast This event, fashioned for home-bred fillies under allowance conditions, brought eight to the post. Fore Isus was well ridden by jockey R. Fair and raced the distance in 1:025s oyer a fast racing strip. Another large crowd was in attendance for the days sport, which brought spirited and close contests. There was an eight minutes delay at the start caused by unruly actions of Dark Robina, Dalamac and Cuvanna but starter Clark had the field away in perfect alignment In the run to the first turn Sweep- fast took the lead but was quickly outrun by Dark Robina, while Tricky Lady was in third place before Fore Isus. When they straightened away in the back stretch Dark Robina drew clear and Fore Isus moved up on the outside to replace Sweepfast in second place. Rounding the lower turn Dark Robina began to falter and Fair called upon the Cowell colorbearer and as the stretch was reached moved into the lead, then drew clear in the final sixteenth to have a length and a half advantage at the end. Dalamac, which had raced well back in the early stages, had come to the outside for the drive and closing with a rush was along in time to get the place award. Dark Robina just managed to save the show before Sweepfast which was also faltering.
