1 ROCKINGHAM TURF NOTES George Tappen, assistant to James Fitz-simmons, arrived here Tuesday from New York with Wheatley Stables Reminding, which has been named for Thursdays closing day feature, the ,000 added Bennington Handicap. Tommy Malley, who left for Empire City over the week-end, will return here Thursday to have the mount on Reminding in the final stake of the session. Jockey Joe Garrett, who has been on the shelf for several years due to an injury, will get back into action in the coming Narra-gansett meeting. He is under contract to T. F. Swords, the Fall River sportsman. Five-year-old Elmer Thomas Fator, Jr., is getting an early start in the saddle, galloping his aunts horses during the morning, hjmre.j The youngster has jockey blood in his veins, being a nephew of the late Laverne Fator, while his father is riding at this course. Don Christmas plans to ship his string, headed by the good stake performer Accolade, to Narragansett Park. At the close of that meeting Accolade is to be rested preparatory to being shipped to the Pacific coast to enter the rich Santa Anita Handicap next winter. Mrs. E. A. Rotelli, Providence sportswoman, purchased from Mrs. R. Fairbanks the four-year-old Bluebeard. The Blue Larkspur colt raced in the interests of his new owner in the fourth, race. Charles F.
