QUEEN VIC took command in the opening strides, drew clear in the opening three-sixteenths and, hard ridden, dominated the running to the end. ALS PRIDE was forwardly placed the entire way and held on well in the closing drive. TEMPTING WITCH was in the first flight throughout, saved ground at the stretch turn,, but suffered some interference when straightening out on the stretch turn and continued with good energy to the dose. SOCK DOLOGER was unable to keep pace early, then came willingly through the last three-sixteenths. AUTUMN NYMPH was never able to enter into contention and was held safe throughout. Won handily; second and third driving. t- ROYAL BROOM took command soon after the start, drew away into a good lead and, steadied along in front, was never threatened, though ridden out to the end. OPOCA was well placed from the start and, in nearest pursuit of the winner practically from the start, held on stoutly to the close. ROMNEY ROYAL lost ground the entire first half mile and closed willingly in the stretch. TELLWICK lost ground leaving, the back stretch and Finished with good courage. DUSKY MISS dosed in determined fashion, but was unable to endanger the leaders. SIS ROYAL was unable to reach the leaders. KENNER was quickest to begin, but was unable to keep up. CUSTER was under slight restraint for three-quarters, but was unable to improve his position when placed under punishment. SECRET VOTE, slow to begin, made up some ground. LEE GOLD tired badly after coing three-quarters. HATS OFF was never prominent. RONFALON followed the pace under steadying restraint, responded gamely when called upon in the last five-sixteenths and, wearing down WATCH HIM inside the. last eighth, drew clear at the end. WATCH HIM raced to the front at once, withstood determined opposition from CINAR and, despite holding on gamely, was unable to cope with the bid of the winner. EVEN UP worked his way up steadily after leaving the back stretch and came in determined fashion in the last three-sixteenths. KINDACORN made up some ground: CINAR tired in the last quarter mile. SAND BABY was unable to reach the leaders. STEELHEAD was eased back in the first sixteenth and could never enter into contention thereafter. PLUCKY BABY was outrun throughout. BRISTLE was well placed all the way, continued willingly to the end, but was no match for the winner in the closing test. STEPPING IN was well placed all the way and continued gamely to the end. BEHIND. ME was taken. in hand after gaining a forward position, but was unable to improve her position when called upon. -ERNIE MANZER was never prominent. AUNT FLOR had speed from the start, but was much used up in racing with ALANAD and tired in the final three-sixteenths. BOGERTIN dosed some ground. MOTLEY was shuffled back at the start arid was never able to threaten. ALANAD quit badly in the stretch. LADY HOCKBERGER met some interference at the start.
