NOTED PAWTUCKET ARRIVALS Dixiana Stable, Clarence Buxton, W. T. Anderson and Others at Narragansett Park Course. PAWTUCKET, R. I, Oct 20. The Dixiana stable checked in on Sunday with twenty-one head of horse3 from Rockingham Park and trainer Clyde Van Dusen, who won the bonus for the leading trainer here at the summer meeting and immediately donated it to charity, heaved a sigh of relief and remarked: "Its good to get back home." Clyde has a large number of two-year-olds in his string and will reduce his stable to a single carload of horses before shipping back to the farm at the conclusion of this meeting. Jockey Bobby Merritt will report at Narragansett on opening day and will freelance throughout the meeting. Merritt can ride at 102 pounds. A shipment of-horses is due in Wednesday from trainer James Fitzsimmons, including stock from Belair Stud and Frank E. Brown. One of New Englands favorite riders, Jimmy Stout, now under contract to Fitzsimmons, will ride at Narragansett just as soon as his ten days suspension in New York is concluded. Other arrivals at Narragansett over the week-end were Clarence Buxton, with three head including the smart sprinter Bill Farns-worth. W. T. Anderson pulled in with five head, Saturn, Bugle Ann, Consistent, Carlo-vinian and Rosanian. W. A. Shea arrived from New York with five, Merry Maker, Snap Judgment, Malign, Sun Lamp and Star Scout. Frank. Walker shipped in five from Rockingham, and L. Suprenant came from Montreal with Tee Oil and Golden Princess. J. R. Gregory arrived from Chicago with three, Precursor, Catchall and Jubilee Jim. ;
