BABUR raced to the front soon after the start and, withstanding several challenges from DONNACONA KID, saved ground in the stretch and held the latter to the end. DONNACONA KID lost much ground by racing wide, but finished close up. QUOTUM closed some ground and was going well at the end. CHILKAT was outrun for half the distance but was going fairly well at the end. TIP INN raced in four bandages and could not keep up. SKY BREEZE was badly outrun. Scratched 434I5Fluke, 109. KISSIE moved strongly after leaving the back stretch, raced well to the finish but was unable to catch the winner. CARSONO tired after being close to the leaders for over three-quarters.
