SOARING WITCH, away fast, showed good speed in the pacemaking, was well rated and drew away from tht field in the final eighth. REVEILLE MAN moved up fast on the inside shortly after the start, saved ground on the lower turn, finished gamely and outlasted TERMISON for the place. STRATAGEM, well up all the way, took the lead on the lower turn, held on gamely in the drive and just lasted. WESTKO, probably best, started slowly and, far back early, saved ground in the first, three-quarters, came to the outside in the stretch, finished gamely and would have won in another stride, RAGTOWN BELLE, away well, dropped on the lower turn, came on again in the stretch and was going well at the. end. The latter forced the early pace, took the lead when WEELUKIE tired and, while holding on; gamely, could not withstand the winner.
