CASKEY PURCHASES YEARLINGS Buys Four Youngsters From Senator Johnson N. Camden Destined for Sale at Saratoga. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 11. W. E. Cas-key, owner of Bramble Farm, today bought from senator Johnson N. Camden, chairman of the Kentucky state racing com- mission, Runnymede Farm, Paris, Ky., four - yearlings colts, as follows: Bay, by Stimulus imp. Glamour, by Galloper Light; chest- nut, by Alcazar Norado, by Stimulus; brown, by Peace Chance Crag Rose, by Craigangower; bay, by Sir Andrew Azuca, by Nocturnal. The Stimulus colt is one of the grandest looking individuals of this year. His dam is an English mare by Galloper Light. She was a stakes winner in England and is the dam of the winners, Glamorous and Brown Moth, and of Magic Spell, dam of the winner, Norado, by Stimulus. Glamour is a half sisted to Lovely Cldvelly, dam of Poti-phar, noted French stakes winner and sire, and also to imported White Clover II., winner of Suburban and Riggs Handicaps in . this country, and of stakes in France. GRAND INDIVIDUAL. The Peace Chance colt, also a grand "individual, is by a sister to Ladrone and half sister to the great race mare, Rose of Sharon. Her dam, Rosa Mandi, was a half sister to Helios. Mr. Caskey said that these two colts would be in his string for Saratoga sales in August and that the colts by Alcazar and Sir Andrew would be sold at the Lexington sales in October, unless he should dispose of them privately before that time. This brings the Caskey string for Sara- toga to eleven, his latest purchase having been a sister to Myrtelwood, a magnificent bay filly by Blue Larkspur Frizette, and " a grand looking brown colt by Royal MinstrelLa Morlaye, from Brownell Combs, last week. Caskey today said that he intends to buy four more to make a total of fifteen in the Saratoga string. He believes that in. the sister to Myrtlewood, he will probably have the most attractive filly at Saratoga this year. Thus far she is the only filly he has purchased.
