AGUA CALIENTE NOTES 5 . . . $, Georgie Russo, who has been setting the pace for the riders here for the last few weeks, leaves for Bay Meadows Tuesday, to accept riding assignments from Trainer Buster Bedwell. Ruso is under contract to Buster Millerick, who is optioning the boy out to Bedwell for several weeks and there is a possibility the latter might purchase the papers on the young Italian reinsman. Wilie Leischman and Lyn Josephson also are scheduled to head for Bay Meadows within the next few days. Tommy Mansor, a seventeen year old youngster from Massachusetts, who has been galloping horses under the tutelage of Buster Millerick, probably will make his first appearance in colors here next Saturday or Sunday. The Easterner, who can make 95 pounds, has all the characteristics of a good rider, according to Millerick. T. Donley has shipped in with Bernhardt K, Count Robert and Lottie D. Bernhardt K. is a four-year-old Carlaris gelding; Count Robert is a three-year-old gelding by Reigh Count and Lottie D. is a two-year-old, Flying Ebony filly. J. Eckert arrived during the last week with Smoke Maid, High Haste and Chief Almgren and Mrs. J. E. Copenhaver sent Gold Craft across the border to campaign here. Some of the other new runners to check in were Mrs. M. Gillespies Sky Alarm, Sky Meter, Sky Emperor and Sky Mark; L. W. Marks Nyack, a ten-year-old galloper and G. Lambs Sugar Creek and Simon.
