SPILLWAY ON SHELF LEXINGTON, Ky., April 11. J. W. Brown, New Orleans sportsman and owner of the Kentucky Derby hopeful, Spillway, was an arrival from the Crescent City and will remain here for the inauguration of the season. Browns stable, which formerly ran as the Lone Star Stable under the supervision of J. B. Theall, is now quartered in New York, having been shipped to the East after the close of the New Orleans season last month. Spillway, which was taken out of training and fired last fall, then brought back to the races in New Orleans during the latter part of the meeting, proved somewhat of a disappointment in competition and may not see action for some time.
