t BAY MEADOWS NOTES $ : -$ Trainer Jim Cunningham reports that Dolicia Boy has been sent to Huntington Beach- and will be rested up. The horse pulled up sore last out. Jockey Jack Martin, veteran English saddle artist, has affiliated with the stable under the direction of trainer A. Giboney, who will have first call on his services for the California season. Another foal arrived at the Oakmead Farm of Mrs. Alice Hansbrough. The newcomer is a filly by Plucky Play Little Audrey. A. A. Baroni stopped off for a few hours while en route to Reno from Los Angeles. The Nevada horseman talked over future plans with trainer C. R. West, who is racing a few horses here. Baroni expressed his regrets about his not being able to start his Specify in the California Derby. Baroni stated the colt was stricken suddenly with a severe attack of colic on the eve of his being shipped to the San Mateo course. However, Specify rallied quickly to treatment and is none the worse for the brief illness. After a few days in Reno, Baroni will return to Bay Meadows and remain to witness the running of the 515,000 added Bay Meadows Handicap. Frexo, French importation which will represent Raoul Walsh in California this coming summer, has been turned over to trainer H. S. Swift, who will condition the horse for his future engagements.
