SEA SHELL displayed speed from the start under energetic handling, responded to pressure in the stretch and held PRINCE GALE safe. The latter, on the outside of the leader from the start, finished on his own courage. MACIE MARGARET, slow to begin, saved ground entering the stretch and closed stoutly. BOLD LAD, a forward factor all the way, came again on the outside at the finish. BUFF RYAN had early speed, but could not keep up. SCORIA lacked speed and raced greenly. MERRY MEG began slowly. MY SURPRISE, slow to begin and outrun early, improved his position nearing the far turn, came around the leaders entering the stretch and finished with a rush to get up in the last strides. INACTIVE, fractious at the post, was kept well up all the way and held on with determination to the Finish. GUINEA DORIC saved ground entering the stretch, made a determined bid when called upon, but hung at the finish. BAD I DREAMS was well up early, but lost much ground entering the stretch, then closed with determination. SHARP THOUGHTS showed early speed, but faltered in the stretch run. PACK AWAY lacked early speed. PAPLAY, fractious at the post, began slowly. GEMWICK was outrun. HAPPY HOST had no mishaps. I QUEEN VIC showed a flash of early speed. IDLE ELF saved ground rounding the stretch turn, then hung. DIZZY DAME, outrun early, raced wide rounding the stretch turn and was bearing out through the final eighth. MARIATO was taken under restraint when outrun, moved up stoutly rounding the stretch turn on the outside, but hung in the final eighth. BLADE EDGE was kept well up from the start and outlasted PLAYMORE in the final strides. The latter was under stout restraint early, was blocked when he tried to go through on the inside rounding the stretch turn, but came again at the finish. The latter was under snug restraint to the far turn, was sent up on the outside, losing much ground , entering the stretch, then closed with a rush. SWIFTGOLD moved up with a rush after going a quarter, made a determined bid when urged, but then faltered. SUBURBANITE was sent into command with a rush nearing the far turn, but tired in the stretch after losing ground turning for home. RON raced well in spots. GRAPE THIEF had no mishaps. MORUN worked his way up steadily from a slow beginning and finished well. JIM JOHN, showing improvement, raced in nearest pursuit of the early pace, but faltered in the final eighth.
