With the return of secretary Jules Dugal, of the Quebec Racing Association, the announcement was made that preparations were being carried on for the resumption of racing on the tracks in Quebec next summer. It was definitely announced that racing would be held on four tracks again this season, the first meeting to start on or about June 24. The tracks to operate will be Mount Royal, Kings Park, Blue Bonnets and Connaught Park at Ottawa. The season will come to a close on Labor Day as in other seasons at Blue Bonnets, the home of the Montreal Jockey Club. While at New Orleans, secretary Jules Dugal did a lot of missionary work for the local clubs and obtained the promise of a great many horsemen to ship to Montreal. He was most enthusiastic over the outlook. A representative of the clubs has been appointed in Florida and Maryland, while an official of the meeting will be at Toronto when racing starts there. The Quebec Racing Association will meet next week when the officials will be appointed, officers elected and definite dates will be made public. The arrangements made with the Quebec government will also be announced.
