I TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES I s -4 Jockey Joe Renick stated that he would leave for New York at the close of the meeting and await the opening at Jamaica. James Butwell, patrol judge at Tropical Park, departs after the last race Monday for New England to await the meeting at Nar-: ragansett Park. Jockey M. Quintero leaves for Keeneland Park Monday night and will report to the stable of George Krehbiel, now concentrated at the Kentucky track. Jockey Wayne D. Wright packed his riding equipment and departed for New York to report to trainer Pete Coyne of the J. E. Widener stable at Jamaica. On the advice of the track veterinarian, Lottafun, named to start in the first race, was withdrawn by the stewards. Jockey Earl Maloney, who was thrown from Panjab in the two-year-old race Friday, was present at Tropical Park Saturday but refrained from riding. Maloney intends to resume saddle work Monday. The horses of Mrs. L. Navarre will be loaded and transferred to Detroit Monday. James P. Ross, Jr., leaves for his home In Havre de Grace early Tuesday morning and will assist his father in getting the racing plant in condition for the opening next Saturday. Jockey Robert Merritt left for his home in Ruxton, Md., to spend a few days with his family before going to Narragansett Park.
