T KEENELAND TURF NOTES- b Col. E. R. Bradley is due to arrive at Idle Hour Farm from his home at Palm Beach, Fla., next Tuesday night. He will be accompanied by his sister, Mrs. Bailey. Colonel Bradley will remain in Kentucky .until after the running of the Kentucky Derby. Charles Gentry, who has General R. quartered at the trotting track, will take over several horses for a New England campaign. Mrs. Frazer Lebus, wife of the former member of the Kentucky Racing Commission and daughter of Lawrence Jones, director of the American Turf Association, underwent a successful operation for appendicitis. Charles B. Shaffer, who had intended to return to Chicago, made a change in his plans and will remain at Coldstream Stud indefinitely. Chic Chic, a daughter of Chicle Just Number, was badly injured Saturday morning when she stepped on a nail while being returned to the barn after galloping over the Keeneland track. She is one of the prize juveniles in Royce Martins Woodvale Stable. Howard Hoffman, trainer of the Martin horses, stated Mr. and Mrs. Martin are due to arrive from their home at Toledo for an indefinite visit at Woodvale Farm, near Paris, Ky. Fred Burton, clerk of the scales at Keeneland, put in his appearance. Due to his position as racing secretary at Beulah Park. Burton will be unable to remain here for the entire meeting. Jockey Carl Bierman arrived from California and reported to Ray Kindred who is training a division of the Louis B. Mayer horses at Keeneland. .
