PLUNKETT BROS. STABLE LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 8. A candidate for the Kentucky Oaks and an eligible for each of the Debutante Stakes and the Bash-ford Manor Stakes are among the six horses which John Plunkett is training at Churchill Downs for his brother, Dr. E. R. Plunkett, Covington, Ky., dentist. The Oaks filly is Chandera, a likely-looking daughter of Chance Shot purchased out of the dispersal sale of the C. V. Whitney stable. The nominee for the Debutante Stakes is My Honey, a juvenile daughter of The Scout and Bumble Bee, while the Bashford Manor eligible is Dart, a two-year-old, son of Dunlin and Miss Trooper. The Plunketts also have two other juveniles, Rhythm, a daughter of Mars and Ef eldee, and Fetchet, a filly by Stimulus and Vanity. Rounding out the stable is the three-year-old colt, Valet. Dart, Fetchet and My Honey were purchased at the Saratoga Sales, but Rythm was raised on the Glen Helen Farm of her owners at Warsaw, Ky. The Plunkett brothers have ten mares on their farm and hope to raise most of the stock they race in the future.
