I CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES s s Eddie Lcgere, former jockey who now trains horses for the Belmont Stable, wired Churchill Downs officials he is shipping six horses here next Tuesday. The horses will come from Florida. Al Miller and Carter Everett are dividing the horses they train for I. J. Collins, and Everett will take a dozen of them to Beulah Park April 17. Miller transferred four of the Collins horses from Douglas Park to Churchill Downs and is sending six others to Lexington for racing at Keeneland. Garden Pool, Noma F., Our Sammy and Red Go make up the quartet which J. L. Winscher is training at Douglas Park. Jockey Willie Lee Johnson, who has been vacationing at his home in western Kentucky, is due here momentarily. He is under engagement to the stable of Mrs. R. J. Murphy. Maderis Dupuy brought in three horses from Ohio, where they wintered, and they joined three others he transferred here from Hot Springs. The stable now includes Bay Eagle, Ben Sweep, Rush Play, Sis Quinlan, Imperial Jean and Sky Witch. The two racers Rush McCoy has at Douglas Park are King Carl and Grit and Grace. W. G. Douglas is sending the nine two-year-olds he has here for Thomas Bragg to Belmont Park within a few days. Three other Bragg juveniles, now at Lexington, will be transferred here and included in the shipment east. Bragg was here Wednesday to inspect the stock, but returned to Lexington the same afternoon.
