U I NARRAGANSETT PARK NOTES The last-minute rush to Narragansett saw close to 200 horses unloaded at the park over the week-end!. Every stall at the track, with the exception of about 100 reserved for stables due here Wednesday and Thursday, was filled before noon Monday. Horsemen shipping in Sunday and Monday included A. J. Westphal, with three head; B. Pomeroy, with five; L. Williams, with four; R. Lipson, with three; W. Waterman, with five; M. Harris, with three H. Cornwall, with six, and Phil Bieber, with five. Tom Trulis arrived with Prince Splendor and Flying Orphan. Jockey A. Snider, one of the outstanding apprentices at Narragansett last fall, is back and will remain through the season. He will 1 ride for his contract employer, E. P. Rickard. f Jockey T. Aimers arrived and will ride for his contract employer, P. Mecklenburg, Canadian sportsman, who has a stable of eleven here for the spring meeting. George Alexandra, another New England regular, arrived Monday with twelve head from the Florida tracks. The string included Bail Out, Ghost Train, General Howes, Caught, Lady Hav, Bloomer Girl, Weebag, I Steel King, Seventh Inning, Ghost Queen, Passing Eve and William Palmer. Mrs. Floyd Wests shipment of eight head, which included Jack Sting, unloaded at Narragansett Monday morning. Trainer O. L. Foster arrived with his contract rider, H. Krovitz, Revere, Mass., boy, who rode successfully in the South during the winter and spring. C. P. Lindner is here with six head, including Spittenimage, Scudder and Mr. Hyland. Jockey J. G. Wilson, full-fledged rider who had considerable success at Tropical Park, also is here. He will ride for his contract employer, E. Dubble. . Jockey Jimmy Lynch joined the jockey colony. At the moment Lynch is a free lance, but he expects to talk shortly with P. A. Shaw, the Brookline sportsman, re- I garding a contract. I
