ROY TAYLORS INITIAL VICTORY AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, April 17. When little Roy Taylor scored his brilliant victory on W. R. Waltz Lucky Song in the first race Saturday at Agua Caliente, it marked the first success for the youngster on a recognized track. The lad is under contract to Harry T. Palmer of San Ysidro, Calif., hails from Brawley, Calif., and is 18 years old. Taylor is a real lightweight, tipping the beam at -95 pounds. In achieving his initial success, Taylor handled his mount in faultless style, and veteran horsemen are unanimous in their predictions that the Brawley lad is destined for a great career as a jockey.
