I WASHINGTON PARK NOTES 9 Jockey Paul Ryan has given first call on his services for the Washington Park meeting to the stable of Miss E. D. Duffy. G. R. Miller engaged the rider. Willie Davis is here to serve his seventh season as patrol judge. C. Kaynor is here with eight horses belonging to the Motor City Stable. They came from Detroit and have been quartered here about a week. Apprentice Charles Wells will ply his trade for the first ten days of the Washing ton Park meeting and then will report to his employer, Ralph Mcllvain, at Narragansett Park. Jockey Herbert Litzenberger returned from a visit to New York and will be sceu under colors here. Larry Eogenschutz and Sidney S. Brown arrived and are ready to fill their positions as placing judges. William Hamilton, steward, is due tomorrow. R. O. Higdon, who is taking over the training of the Woolford Farm stable, sold The Thrush, Playmay, Pinnacle Light and Bess B. to that establishment at private terms. Higdon also plans to dispose of Dancing Light and Val vesta.
