1AT0NIA TURF NOTES I . $ The movement of thoroughbreds will be started in earnest Sunday, when the various stables make their departure for various points of racing, with Dade Park drawing the largest number. Russell Sweeney, resident manager of La-tonia, suffered a case of ptomaine poisoning Friday, but was sufficiently recovered to be at his post Saturday afternoon. A delegation of Chicagoans came over to view the running of the Latonia Cup Saturday afternoon and included in the group were Stuyvesant Peabody, president of Lincoln Fields; E. J. Fleming, director of the American Turf Association; John Davin, vice-president of the C. and O. R. R.; J. H. McDonald, and Peter ONeill. Charles Houbre took over five of the horses that W. J. Raybould campaigned here and included them in his consignment to Dade Park. Jockey Jack Bryson left Sunday for Chicago, where he will report to C. H. Ferguson at Washington Park, for whom he will ride during the remainder of the Chicago season. Because of the extremely adverse weather and track conditions that prevailed Saturday morning, resulting in wholesale scratching, only eight races graced the final program instead of the scheduled nine. Gaylord, Air Vent, Simple Kate and Electric Comet, which H. K. Moore is-handling for various owners, were shipped to Lexington, Ky., Sunday to be turned out for a brief periorl
