SPOTLESS, reserved off the early pace, moved up stoutly in the last five-eighths, obtained racing room on the inside rounding the final turn, continued to save ground and was up right at the end. JINNEAL -improved his position on the outside, swung very wide in the late stages and failed to last after getting to the front in the last eighth. MACHILLA raced in his best form, but could not stay when the real test came, BOSOPI raced gamely all the way. FAMOUS CLAYTON dropped back suddenly, then came again. COUNTER PASS, in much trouble early, made a great spurt on the final turn, then tired from her effort. RED TRAP was held safe. TOUTMEPAL and BOERALICE quit. LYNX EYE wheeled and was pulled up.
