Alsab to Stay in New York For Engagement in Dwyer NEW YORK, N. Y., May 19. Al Sabath, the Chicago barrister, whose namesake, Alsab, won the Preakness and is the early favorite for the Withers and Belmont, came to Gotham from the Toddling Town and will remain in the East to witness Saturdays important mile at the Nassau County course. Sabath proposes to keep the noted son of Good Goods on Long Island following the current Belmont Park season to fill his engagement in the Dwyer renewal at Aqueduct, after which he will point for Arlingtons Classic. Jockey Basil James is to handle Alsab in all his stakes engagements during the remainder of the 1942 campaign. Sabath, counsel for the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, will go to Washington, D. C, in a few days to present horsemens requirements in the gas rationing to the proper authorities there.
