Delaware, Detroit, Crete Get Louisville Horses Ship Three Cars to Motor City - Oval and Two to Lincoln Fields LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 19. The transfer . of horses to other tracks continued at : Churchill Downs today with the shipment of six more express carloads, leaving the local chute for Delaware Park, Detroit and Lincoln Fields. One car went to Delaware Park, three to Detroit and the other two ; were consigned to Lincoln Fields. The , Delaware shipment was in charge of Tommy Queen who sent the horses of M. B. Goff, Pittsburg, breeder, while the Detroit shipments embraced the units of Euall Wyatt, Smith G. Baker, Sr., Bing Crosby and David Butler. T. E. Muellers Shady Brook Farm unit and S. Hazards small stable made up one car for the Chicago area, while thet horses of Tom Sanford, trainer for J. K. j Houssels, and Harry Saladin, who conditions the Arcturus stable, made up the second car. The Goff horses intended for campaigning at the eastern track include Bostee, a candidate for several stakes at Delaware, including the Oaks; Grenadier, Dark Stream, Ginomerica, Lord Win, Flint Seth, Flintee, Blue Display, Fire at Will, Broad Head, Nevola, Hillsun and Mokablue, The car left this morning, while the four others got away in the evening for Crete and Detroit. In addition to Hi-Carl, Smokin Ott, Swain, Stop H., Adenos, Savage Sailor and Marcum, Jr., which got away for Detroit today, Wyatt expected to pick up three others for racing at the Motor City track. Meggy Heads Baker Shipment Trainer James O. Scott loaded the Baker representatives and in the car going to the Michigan city were Meggy, Norm, Jack W., Chance Ann, Meadowbrook, Heltran, Cure-agal, Two Heels, Peragra, Beggs, Jacks Sister, Epidown, James O., Mae H., Charlotte Dear and Rythmic Miss. Meggy, one of the leading handicap performers at the Detroit course last year, will again make an effort to duplicate her consistent efforts of last season. She will be named for all stakes to be run during the long Detroit session. The third car heading for Detroit carried the horses of Crosby and Butler and were loaded under the direction of trainer Alfred Johnson.. The radio crooners colorbearers ! going to the Michigan track include La Zonga, Viejo, Okoole Maluna, Swingy Wingy, Permiso and Momentito. The Butler racers, also conditioned by Johnson, are Penwipe and Valdina Gnome. The Shady Brook Farm stable and the Hazard horses were in one car destined for ! the Crete course, and the smallest stable! in several years will sport silks at Lincoln Fields under the Mueller colors. Trainer George Brooks is sending only a half dozen head and they include Litchfield, Cadmium, Brutus, Kokomo, Agricole and March On. Ho Down, Gay Tom and Uncle Eric were the Hazard horses going in the same car as i the Shady Brook Farm representatives. ! The last car to be hooked to the engine was the one with the Houssels and Arcturus Stable horses. In charge of Sanford were Omelet and Emolument and the two-year-olds, Joker and Magnesium.
