Ohio Notes BEULAH PARK, Columbus, Ohio, May 19. Word reached here that Bruce K. Frazier, former jockey agent at Beulah Park, is now in the army. air corps, stationed at Cochran Field, Macon, Ga. Frazier hails from Omaha, Neb., and was promoted- to the rank of corporal on May 1. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Maurice Edgar Black, a valet, who, when last heard from, was working in Maryland, please advise him to get in touch with his wife in Grove City at once. Black must report to his draft board immediately. Jockeys E. Robart and L. Whiting left for Omaha, Neb., Sunday. Whiting was the leading winning rider here with 17 winners. Matt Jordan, head trainer of the Darby Dan Farm stable, was an arrival from Churchill Downs. Thomas Cromwell sent Stally Sold and Symmetry here from Kentucky to B. S. Littrell to train. Jockey Hiram Tackett received a questionnaire from his Hamilton, Ohio, draft board Tuesday. Eddie Dyer, manager of the Columbus Red Birds, was a visitor here. Dyer is a rabid racing fan. r C. B. Doughty, of Grove City, has registered Self Starter with the racing secretary. Robert Guciardo was a late arrival with four horses from Lexington, Ky. J. L. Watkins was a visitor recently distributing condition books among horsemen for the Omaha, Neb., meeting, where he has served as an official in recent years. R. C. Groff was granted a trainers license Monday and will train his own horses in the future. Jockey E. Fator left for Detroit where he will ride free lance. Jockeys J. R. Hill and 1. Eversole, departed for Charles Town. R. Fisher, former rider, was a visitor here while en route to Detroit. Jockey E. Connelly packed his tack and left for Charles Town, W. Va. Jockey H. Ramirez departed for Detroit following the last race Saturday.
