Attentions Peruvian Trophy Pleases Mrs. Parker Corning ELMONT, L. I., N. Y., May 19. Trainer Max Hirsch, who, on behalf of Mrs. Parker Corning, received the handsome trophy of Peruvian silver of Inca design from Manuel Pardo, president of Peru, after her color-bearer, Attention, won the Metropolitan Handicap, suggests that the Westchester Racing Association give replicas of the cup for future runnings of the event. Mrs. Corning was unable to be present for the Metropolitan because of illness at her Albany home, and Attentions triumph was in the nature of a tonic, Hirsch remarked after telephoning his patron the good news. The four-year-old son of Equipoise and Fi2zaz came out of the race in excellent condition, and now will be pointed for the Suburban Handicap on May 30. Hirsch believes the Suburban will be a great race and realizes Attention will be called upo to carry a high impost. "Id sure like the privilege of weightmt those horses," Hirsch remarked this morn ing, in a manner indicating that he had no idea of giving Attention the best of it. "i believe I could get a good handicap without putting too much on the top weights."
