RISSA was prominent from the start, disposed of -BLUE LEONA for command, held to a position well out in the track, lost command in the stretch by going extremely wide in search of the better going and, again assuming command, had enough left to hold DINNER JACKET. The latter trailed his company through the back stretch, moved up stoutly nearing the stretch, came through on the inside of the leader and-held on with splendid energy in the final drive. " LOST GOLD worked his way up gradually and held on gamely at the end. CATAPULT, steadied along early, gained a short advantage in the stretch when coming through on the inside, but was down in the deeper going and was unable to keep pace under urging. COUNT COTTON was unable to engage the leaders. BATTERY failed to threaten. BLUE LEONA quit badly. CINESAR was outrun. ON THE CUFF, hustled to tht front in the first eighth, drew clear and, kept under hard riding to the close, held MOKANANNE safe. Th latter worked his way up gradually and closed willingly in the stretch. AGRADEL raced forwardly placed from the start, but was unable to make up any ground in the closing drive. LADY BOB raced forwardly throughout. VALDINA SECRET, outrun early, was unable to enter serious contention. SUNTEGRA, away alertly, was unable to keep up. BONNIE RUE was outrun. PAL raced well placed all the way, but was never in a position to endanger the leader and" tired slightly in the stretch. BRASS TOWER was unable to keep pace in the last quarter. BONNIE GOLOS went to the front at once, shook off KNITETTA when reaching the back stretch, drew out after rounding the far turn and won as if outclassing her opposition. SUN GIRL movdd up on tho outside through the back stretch, but was never in a position to seriously threaten the winner. MISTY LADY moved up on the outside rounding the first turn, had to be cased back nearing the turn into the back stretch and raced evenly thereafter. DAISY was unable to engage the leaders. CATOMAR moved up on the outside through the back stretch, took command under pressure and. kept under intermittent punishment in the last five-sixteenths, held COUNTRY LASS safe to the end. COUNTRY LASS moved up through the back stretch and held on with good energy in the final drive. EYEOPENER dropped back in the run down - the far side of the track, then made up some ground in the last three-eighths but was unable to get within striking distance of the first two. INACTIVE showed good early speed, then laltered in the last three-eighths. IN SANG was unable to enter contention. PAPER PLATE forced the pace, then dropped back after rounding the far turn. RODIN, slow to begin, trailed his company into the back stretch, moved up gradually on the outside and, working his way to the leaders steadily, was along in the last seventy yards to wear down ENGLISH SETTER. The latter, prominent from the start, disposed of GOLD TOWER for the lead, drew clear in the stretch and, while holding oa gamely, was unable to cope with the bid of the winner. FANCY FREE, outrun until the last three-eighths, finished determinedly thereafter. GOLD TOWER forced the early pace, took command when JAY STEVENS began tiring and made a game bid to go along when challenged, but tired in the last three-sixteenths. MASTER KEY was unable to enter contention. JAY STEVENS dropped back after rounding the far turn. NIGHT GLOW was unable to keep up after going a half mile. Won eased up; second and third driving. .DON MOSS, under steadying restraint while following along in near attendance of the early leaders, moved up to dispose of MILL TOWER for the lead before reaching the stretch and drew out fast, then was taken in hand nearing the close. SIGANAR had speed from the start and, much used when racing MILL TOWER, held on gamely but was no match for the winner. THE SHAUGRAUN trailed until reaching the last eighth, then finished willingly to outlast TRANSMITTER. The latter was unable to enter into serious contention. ESELKAY, steadied along back of the pace until the last five-sixteenths, was brought to the outside in the stretch and, responding gamely to hard riding, was along in the last twenty yards to wear down TETRATOWN. The latter outran her field from he start, was nursed along under slight reserve and, while holding on gamely, was unable to stave off the bid of the winner. GHOST QUEEN, in nearest chase of the early pace, was unable to better her position when placed to a drive. DRIVING POWER was unable to better his position under pressure. ARMISTICE bore out badly nearing the stretch and finished along the outside rail. PRUNAY was outrun. WANTARUN failed to make up any ground.
