New Zealand Betting Up By Special Correspondent AUCKLAND, New Zealand.— New Zea-landers are showing an increasing interest in racing. At 11 meetings held during Labor Day week in 1943, the record sum of j 700.000 pounds was handled on the total- v isator. This represents a 25 per cent increase over the handle for the same meetings in 1942.
