Full provision is made both in the stakes, which range from 0,000 to 0,000 in value, and the various daily overnight offerings of from ,500 to ,000 for all ages and sexes and at all distances. Twelve of the stakes, aggregating 50,- 000 in added money alone, are carded for three-year-olds and upward. Six, carrying 40,000 added, are for three-year-olds and the other six, representing an endowment of 0,000, are for two-year-olds. The stakes set an unprecedented average of 0,417. Nomination, eligibility and starting fees will greatly increase their gross values. The aged division starts on opening day, June 19, with a ,000 overnight sprint to tune up for the historic Equipoise Mile on the following Saturday. They lead up to the 0,000 Stars and Stripes Handicap, at one and one-eighth miles, on July 4. Preceding the 0,000 Arlington Handicap, one and one-quarter miles, July 29, will be the Arlington Matron for fillies and mares, one mile, July 8; the Grassland Handicap, one and one-eighth miles on the grass, July 13, and the Myrtlewood, six furlongs, July 19. Ahead of the 0,000 Washington Park Handicap, one and one-quarter miles, September 4, will be the Great Western, seven furlongs, August 2; Meadowland Handicap, one and one-quarter miles on the grass, August 10; 0,000 Beverly Handi-I cap for fillies and mares, one and one-eighth miles, August 19; Sheridan Handicap, one mile, August 23, and Chicago : Handicap, six furlongs, August 30. Rich Offerings for Three-Year-Olds Three-year-olds have fabulously rich of-; ferings. The Princess Doreen Stakes, six furlongs, June 28, is the first of two 0,000 filly events. Skokie Handicap, seven fur-| longs, July 6, is an open test for the Arlington Classic, one and one-quarter miles, July 22, that has prospects of reaching an 5,000 gross prize. The Cleopatra Stakes, one mile, July 26, is the other filly event. The Dick Welles Handicap, one mile, August 12, completes the setting for the American Derby, one and one-quarter miles, August 26, for another estimated 5,000 pot. Two-year-old colts, fillies and geldings have increased opportunities this season. Arlington Futurity, six furlongs, July 15, has had added money boosted to 5,000 and, with a record number of nomination and eligibility payments, furnishes the basis for a 0,000 gross value estimate. Substantial increases for the Arlington Lassie, six furlongs, July 1, advances it to a likely 5,000 major event for fillies. Tra- ditional Hyde Park Stakes, five and one-jhalf furlongs, June 21, provides an impor-; tant test. Practically the same schedule leads up to the 0,000 Washington Park Futurity, six furlongs, September 2. The Princess Pat, filly stake, six furlongs, August 5, has the same futurity conditions and value as the Lassie. Prairie State Stakes, six furlongs, August 16, matches the Hyde Park.
