I., April 22— The Army is urgently calling for more women to replace soldiers headed for overseas, and next Wednesday will be WAC recruiting day at Narragansett Park. In this drive the Gansett association is cooperating with Capt. Alice Gordon, in charge of WAC recruiting in Rhode Island. A WAC handi- I cap will be decided, with suitable trophies J J donated to the owner or trainer of the win-, , ning horse.
