Trainers Tell Derby Plans JAMAICA, L. I.. N. Y., April 22.— Trainer John Gaver of the Greentree Stable stated following the running of the Wood Memorial that if Stir Up cooled out nicely he would be shipped to Louisville on Tuesday to fulfill his engagement in the Derby. Trainer Hirsch Jacobs will ship Stymie to Pimlico for the Chesapeake and then to Louisville to meet his Derby engagement. Trainer Bert Mulholland of the G. D. Widener stable, whose Lucky Draw was a galloping I winner of the second half of the Wood, was undecided. He will take up the matter with owner Widener and the decision will rest with the latter. Trainer Andy Schuttinger, who saddled Pukka Gin for Col. C. V. Whitney, was mystified by his charges effort. He stated that the colt floundered in the race and was a distinct disappointment. Schuttinger will study the matter over the week-end. Bert Baroni, whose Autocrat was a good third to Lucky Draw, plans to ship westward as soon as possible.
