LUCKY DRAW forced a fast e.nly pace, assumed command when ready, was rated along under restraint and had speed in reserve while lolloping at the end. BROAD GRIN was sluggish in the early running, improved his position steadily, came through on the inside entering the stretch, but could not menace the winner. HOODOO showed speed in the early stages and held on well under urging at the end. FREE LANCE w.s outrun in the early stages, came to the outside for the stretch run and t nished well. ARIEL FLIGHT was taken under restraint when outrun, but was never a strong factor thereafter. FOX BROWNIE stumbled while on the inside going to the far tuM, recovered quickly and then tired neaiing the tiipsh. PLUCKY MAID had no mishaps. MAGELLAN was never a formidable factor.
