Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS at Hawthorne, Cicero, 111., June 3. George Wahlman, manager of the Wool-ford Farms breeding and training establishment at Kansas City, Kansas, accompanied his employer, Herbert M. Woolf, here to see Historian win the LaSalle Handicap Saturday. G. H. Emick was an arrival from his home at Kansas City. He has several horses here in charge of Ben F. Stutts. Powdered Milk, a two-time winner at Sportsmans Park, who was shifted to the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting at Omaha and won there, was returned here to campaign during the remainder of the meeting. The son of Milkman is owned by A. S. Higgins and trained by Arthur E. Mettz. Arthur Kuprion, owner of the Kuprion camera which will photograph the finishes-at Arlington Park, was an arrival from Louisville. He will start setting up his equipment this week. The Dixiana stable will ship over to Arlington Park next week, according to trainer Jack Hodgins. J. Abraham Jr. purchased the plater Jen Jen from G. Garvie at private terms. The main division of the William Helis stable will arrive at Arlington Park next week under the care of Ed L. Snyder. August Sarge Swenke is due to arrive with the large stable owned by Frank Frankel, which has been campaigning at New York, next week at Arlington Park. Clint Myer brought Little Ruler from Omaha and will campaign the nine year old mare here the remainder of the meeting. C. G. Rowans Budlarwin and Jene Tryster arrived from Kansas City and will be trained by J Keezek. FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 3. Donald Batts has taken out a jockey license. Riverby Boy and Drumont have been placed on the veterinarians list and will not be permitted to start for five days Both horses pulled up lame in their last engagements.
