The latter, away fastest and having speed, gradually increased her advantage while in hand, drifted out soon after entering the stretch and held on gamely, but was not good enough. BAG-NELL, a factor from the beginning, was lightly restrained to the stretch and closed evenly. MAIHIGH raced very wide throughout. OLENTANGY raced wide to the stretch, where he drifted in while closing well. DADS did not keep up on the turn and was not a factor thereafter. Braxton; bred by John W. Galbreath. WENT TO POST-5:33. OFF AT 5:34 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. TETRADAN, strongly restrained early, cut to the inside when passing EPOLA, continued in hand to the last three-sixteenths, then continued well under energetic riding. MAURICE K., away slowly, bettered his position gradually while racing wide and closed evenly under weak handling. AIR RAIDER, a forward factor from the beginning, weakened, but outstayed the others. FLIRTY was holding on well at the end. THAT-A-LADY showed a poor effort. EPOLA quit badly. HAPPY CHOICE almost collided with CHARLENE on the stretch turn and was pulled up. CHARLENE, very sore, was pulled up entering the stretch. Scratched— 98231 Dr. Bones, 110; 99227 Tee Beau, 110; 95446 Maginot Line, 110; 991223 Stand Easy, 116; 99115 Travel, 105.
