To Remain in Australia SYDNEY, Australia, June 3 Reuters.— A. O. Romano, owner of Bernborough, Australias champion thoroughbred, denied today that he was intending to send his racer to the United States to compete in the 1947 Santa Anita Handicap. "I do not intend to take the horse to America," Romano explained, "he is not a young horse Bernborough is a six-year-old and there is no way of telling how he would fare on such a trip, and furthermore, I dont want to take him away from Australia." Bernborough has won nine successive races this season.
