Ship Sirde to Suffolk Monday For 0,000 Massachusetts ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, HI., June 28. Mrs. Ada L. Rices Sirde will leave here Monday for Suffolk Downs, where he will participate in the 0,000 Massachusetts Handicap, trainer Carleton A. "Slim" Roles said this morning. According to Roles, no plans have been made to ship to the West Coast for the Hollywood Park meeting. His stable will make up its mind on that score after Sirde returns from New England. Basil James, contract rider for the stable, will accompany Roles to handle the reins on the clever black son of Mio dArezzo Risky Miss. Roles also said that in some respects he is surprised that Sirde is fit to run at this time. Last Sunday he sent the horse on the track for his final prep for the Equipoise, and he was going along nicely during the early part when he suddenly emitted a resounding "oomph" that could be heard in the grandstand. The horse immediately pulled himself up and returned to the barn in a lame condition. Apparently he had struck something in the track. The following morning, however, he was sound and has been going about his training moves in fine order since. He was scratched from the Equipoise Mile because Roles didnt believe him to have sufficient , work under his belt.
