DON CHANCE was rushed fnto command and showed speed, then faltered. CHANCE GREY finished well under urging. HERODOTUS dropped back .after the beginning then made up some ground. IRISH COUNT was a prominent factor from the beginning and was sent up with, a rusrj on the outside, then held on gamely to the end. MON TEAIC improved her position, and, under pressure, finished fast between horses in the final sfxteenth. STEEL REIGH showed speed all the way, only to falter in the final furlong. FERRY COMMAND showed a good effort. JINGLE BELLS moved up determinedly, then hung.. RUN LADY showed early speed.. MAMA FUFU finished well. HOMESPUN, on the inside,, could not keep up. COMANCHE PEAK, between the leaders from the beginning, drifted out slightly on the far turn, then faltered at the finish. FEBRIDGE was outrun early, but could not menace the leaders. WHIPPED CREAM forced the pace from the start, disposed of WHICH CUP in the stretch run. and held on well. VALDINA LORD, well; up from the start, made a determined bid when urged, but faltered at the finish. WHICH CUP saved ground and had no mishap. JACIAN was never a strong factor. TOPSY ROSE was outrun.
