I ! Miles Standish Stakes Attracts Field of Nine Massachusetts Eligibles Go in Secondary Offering on Program SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 28. Tomorrows program at Suffolk Downs is a very promising one, with the eleventh running of the 0,000 Miles Standish Stakes, a five and one-half fur-! longs event for two-year-olds as the feature and the ,000 Nathan Hale Purse, one mile and a sixteenth prep race for candidates for the 0,000 Massachusetts Handicap as the supplementary feature of the card. Both races drew good fields, with 10 being named for the juvenile race and nine being entered for the Nathan Hale. The Miles Standish field consists of Weston W. Adams Oidenasai, C. T. Chenerys Mango-hick, S. D. Sidells Silee, R. B. Carrolls Belrate and Rube, William Helis End of Strife, Reynolds Brothers Rum Runner, T. C. Melroses Mel Eppley, and McCarthy and Gavegnanos Black Knave. The Massachusetts Handicap eligibles who will have what probably will be their last prep race for that 0,000 event in the Nathan Hale are W. J. Beatties Linwood Jim, C. P. Amodies Dinner Party, Long-champs Farms Bill Hardey, C. F. Herrmanns Float Me, and H. Ted Darlings West Fleet. Others named for this event include E. A. Simpsons Take Away, Morris Wexlers Broke, Even, Lamoureux and Peats Momo Flag, and Sam Garfields F. B. Eye. Three other Massachusetts eligibles will also be seen on tomorrows program. Bernard Seroys Hillyer Court, a recent arrival from New York, will be given a speed sharpener in the six-furlong Merrimac Handicap, while William Helis Olympic Zenith and Sam Garfields Patriotism have been named for the Summertime Purse, mile and a sixteenth event which will be run as the seventh event. The Miles Standish is expected to be a closely contested race, with End of Strife, Silee, Mel Eppley and Black Knave all receiving strong support. Black Knave and Silee were here in their previous assignments, but End of Strife and Mel Eppley are highly regarded prospects.
