Four Pay-Offs in Daily Double at Fairmount FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 28. The fourth dead heai for first came in the first race at Fairmount Park when Lady Dorsey and Mr. Bo finished on even terms in the five and one-half furlongs test. Billy Floyd was astride Lady Dorsey and it was his fiftieth victory of the season, tying the one-session record established by J. Dean Jessop last spring. When Kansas Red, a first-time starter, won the second race under a hustling ride by Joe Dyer, it was necessary to split the Daily Double pool. Those who had Lady Dorsey coupled with Kansas Red received 6.60, and the combination of Mr. Bo and Kansas Red was good for 000. Mister B., an intended starter in the second race, was fractious in the paddock as well as on the track and when he threw his rider the stewards decided to scratch him. All wagers in the regular betting was refunded and a Daily Double payoff was made on the winners of the first and second races and the scratched horse, the Doubles being as follows: Those who coupled Lady Dorsey with Mister B. received , and those who coupled Mr. Bo with Mister B. received 3.80, thus making four Daily Double pay-offs in the pool.
