TULCO, never far back but on the outside, came willingly when hard ridden through the stretch and, disposing of the leaders, won going away. SIR LEKNARF, a sharp factor from the beginning and well handled, moved up boldly when roused for the drive, but was not good enough for the winner. MISTER EASY, away alertly, made the pace to the final furlong, then weakened. BUCK RAKE, on the inside throughout, finished strongly under brisk handling. JAY FORST lacked early speed, but closed fast. APPETIZER was outrun. BLUE SEAL raced prominently until inside the stretch, then gave way. THERESE CANALE began slowly. RED TAPE raced wide. BLACK TWEETIE forced the pace to the last furlong, then quit badly and drifted out during the final furlong. HARDING F. was done early. ARABS FANCY, alertly handled, assumed command at once, responded readily when shaken up entering the stretch and retained his advantage without need of further urging. JAN-ROD, a keen factor from the beginning, came determinedly when roused for the drive, but could not reach the winner. CHINA PRINCESS saved ground throughout and closed strongly in a sharp effort. ROYAL TIGER, on the outside from the beginning, held on well under punishment LITTLE GEROMO lacked early speed, but finished strongly when sent to the inside for the drive. ALL BUSINESS, slow to begin and racing greenly, finished well when set down for the stretch run. HAPPY DOE went evenly without mishap. NAUGHTY BABY tired after racing prominently to the stretch. BOGLE, well ridden, went to the front after three-eighths, established a commanding lead before reaching the stretch, then was ridden out to hold her advantage. PORTERFIELD, on the inside from the beginning, worked his way forward steadily and finished well in a sharp effort LOU JAY S. improved his position to the stretch, but could not reach the leaders when set down for the drive. BUZZY BOY saved ground throughout, made a good bid nearing the upper turn, then faltered. ZACA WAC had early speed, but failed to stay. STIPULATION began slowly and never was a serious factor. DOUG CRATE went to the front early, then gave way. MAE BRIGHT never was dangerous. MARTHA DOYLE began fast, but could not keep up. ATTRITION was done early. GREAT CARD, in close quarters on the upper turn, came willingly when clear, but could not get to the leaders when set down for the drive. SABLE STAR went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch under occasional urging, then gave way. SWEET COMET, much used engaging SABLE STAR to the final quarter, disposed of the latter and reached the lead, then tired badly. SCHOLARITY was outrun. FREE SON was never dangerous. LEIDA was far back throughout. BEAN POT raced wide. ADELARA had early speed. NAVY CROSS, alertly handled, assumed command early, held a short lead when settled for the drive and was vigorously ridden thereafter to withstand ALISON PETERS. The latter, forwardly placed throughout, came to the outside for the stretch run and finished strongly to be getting to the winner at the end. TROJAN FLEET, lacking early speed, slipped through on the inside at the final turn and made a good bid before tiring. JIMMIE raced prominently to the stretch, then tired badly. LEGISLATOR was outrun.
