Postpone Valleyfield Meet TORONTO, Ont., June 28. The 14-day meeting of the Valleyfield Exhibition Company, scheduled to open at Connaught Park, Ottawa, Ont., on June 29, has been postponed one week. The announcement was made today by Tommy Gorman, general manager of the Ottawa track. According to Gorman, more time than was expected to complete arrangements for the forthcoming meeting, is required to have things in first class shape, and along with many other details, the printers strike has held up the printing of the mutuel tickets.
