Twenty-Eight Mexico City Horses Arrive at Fairmount FAIRMOUNT, Collinsville, 111., May 14. — Three stables checked in at Fairmount Park from Mexico City yesterday. They were the strings of Rancho Oro de Agua, the Fred H. Swain stable and the stable of William McCown of Houston. Texas. The total shipment was comprised of 24 horses and made up two express cars from the Hipodromo de Las Americas. A vanload of horses from Mexico City also arrived early Monday. They were the four horses of H. Mathews. In the shipment were Ship Signal, Honest Pal, Lone Ace and Rustler Tom. All saw action at the Hipodromo.
