Representative Starting Field Predicted for Joliet Stakes HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., May 14.— Juveniles already on the grounds for the twentieth running of the 0,000 Joliet Stakes, the five-furlong feature on next Saturdays program at Hawthorne, assure racing secretary Lawrence Bogenschutz one of the strongest fields in the history of the stake. Jack Hodgins, trainer of the Dixiana Stable of Charles T. Fisher, may send Safety First from Louisville. William Mi-kel, the downstate Illinois owner, has a pair of juveniles nominated for the event in Hypostyle and Hypothesis, while others are Mrs. Kirby Ramsey and Miss Jean Camerons Jean Fox and Challorette, and Willie Crump, who handles J. Howard Rouses Mr. Kilroy and Little Xs. Another stable that is due to arrive this afternoon is Murlogg Farms contingent headed by two Joliet eligibles — Gee Whiz and Stepinfox. Other racing establishments who have been on the scene for the past two days and have nominees for the stake are: Aarons and Hokins Bert-Ram, F. L. Flan ders Challeann, S. C. Backs Vi-Bid, winner here on Tuesday; James W. Billettes Audo, who started twice, once at Sportsmans and once at Hawthorne; Joenace Stables Helen, W. W. Jones Belmont Beauty, A. B. Karles Kaslick, C. E. Lunds Lawyer Slope, Joe Maumus George Quint, N. L. Rafflemans Atrebla and Laroc, and Louis Schlossers Misty Eight and Temple-moyle.
