Shift in Lincoln Officials HAWTHORNE, Cicero, EL, May 14.— Following the close of the Churchill Downs meeting there on Saturday, there will be a shift of some officials at Hawthorne as the regulars will relieve those who have been substituting for them during the confliction of dates. The new official body will be: steward representing the Illinois Racing Board, William A. Hamilton; presiding steward, Sam H. McMeekin; steward Jack Goode; racing secretary and handicapper, Lawrence C. Bogenschutz; placing judges, H. B. Lindenberger, Ray Hoertz and Wil7 liam A. Reagan; clerk of scales, Charles J. Gormley; assistant clerk of scales, Floyd Alsbury; paddock judge, James T. Clark; patrol judges, Robert P. McAuliffe, William J. Shelley, Thomas Steele and George Molesworth; timer. William Cunningham; starter, Reuben White.
